A mother tells Sasaki Moritsuna of her bitterness toward him. He killed her child.

Moritsuna confesses that he killed a fisherman who had told him the way across a sea for battle. He did this to keep the information from others.

Moritsuna promises the distraught mother that he will hold a memorial ceremony.

When the service for the fisherman starts, the gruesome figure of a ghost appears.

Despite my help, I was cut though with a sword.

I sank in the sea.

I was caught between the rocks.

I was going to become an evil dragon, but with this service I have attained buddhahood.
